Howard J. Gordon, CFA, President, has more than 25 years of experience in business valuation. He was formerly Senior Vice President of the investment banking firm of Newbury, Piret & Company, Inc. and Manager of its Business Valuation Department. Prior to that, he was Senior Trust Officer and Manager of the Business Service Department at State Street Bank & Trust Company and Investment Research Officer with the Trust & Closely-Held Asset Department at Bank of Boston. Mr. Gordon has lectured widely before various professional groups on the subject of business valuation and has testified as an expert witness in numerous State and Federal Courts. Eugene A. Sommer, ASA, Senior Vice President, has been engaged in business valuation since 1975 and has been with Gordon Associates since 1993. He was previously employed by Coopers & Lybrand as Director of the Valuation Services Group in Boston. Prior to that he was a Manager of its New York Valuation Group. A Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers, Mr. Sommer has testified throughout the US and has lectured widely on the subject of business valuation. Robert S. Kamanitz, ASA, Vice President, has been with Gordon Associates since its inception in 1991 and has more than 15 years of business valuation experience. He was previously employed by the investment banking firm of Newbury, Piret & Company, Inc. in the Business Valuation and Corporate Finance Departments. Mr. Kamanitz is a Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers and has testified and lectured on a variety of business valuation issues. James D. Prybyla, Associate, has been with Gordon Associates since 1998 and has more than 10 years of business valuation experience.  Mr. Prybyla was previously a member of the Investment Banking Department at Fechtor, Detwiler & Co., Inc., working with clients on business valuations, fairness opinions, initial public offerings, private financings and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, Mr. Prybyla was employed by Analog Devices, Inc. as a Senior Engineer. He holds an M.S.F. with High Distinction from the Bentley College Graduate School of Business and a B.S.E.E. Ronald F. MacDonald, Jr., CFA, Analyst, joined Gordon Associates in 2007.  Prior to joining Gordon Associates, Mr. MacDonald spent approximately five years in the Business Valuation and Litigation Services Group of McGladrey & Pullen, LLP / RSM McGladrey, Inc.  Mr. MacDonald also served as an analyst in the institutional investment management industry for Wellington Management Company, LLP, H.C.
